Privacy
Effective April 29, 2026
PookiePartner is a dating + couples app currently in pre-launch. This privacy policy describes what limited information the pookiepartner.app waitlist site collects today, why, and what happens to it. When the iOS and Android apps launch, a separate, more detailed privacy policy will govern in-app data; that document will be linked here ahead of launch.
What we collect on this site
The only personal data you actively give us is the email address you submit to the waitlist form:
- Email address — to notify you once the app is live.
- Source — a non-personal label (e.g.
web) recording which surface the signup came from, so we can understand where waitlist signups originate. - Timestamp — when you joined the list.
We do not collect your name, phone number, or precise location, and we do not sell your data or run advertising pixels.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use this site (which pages are visited, rough traffic sources, and broad device/browser types). To do this, Google Analytics sets cookies and processes limited technical data such as a randomised identifier, your approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, and the pages you view. Google acts as our data processor; IP addresses are not stored by us and are anonymised by Google.
We use this only to improve the site — not to identify you personally, build advertising profiles, or sell anything. You can opt out with Google’s browser opt-out add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser, or via any cookie/consent controls we add before launch.
Why we collect it
The single purpose: to email you once when PookiePartner is available to download. No newsletter. No drip campaigns.
Where it’s stored
Your email is stored in our Supabase database (PostgreSQL) hosted in the EU region. The waitlist table is access-controlled with row-level security:
- The public website can add emails to the list.
- The public website cannot read the list. There is no public endpoint that exposes waitlist contents.
- Only PookiePartner team members with a service-role credential can access the full list, and only for the purpose of sending the launch email.
Who we share it with
Nobody. Your waitlist email is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party. We use the following infrastructure providers strictly as data processors under standard data-processing terms:
- Supabase — database hosting (storing the email).
- Railway — application hosting (serves pookiepartner.app).
When the launch email goes out, we will send it via a transactional email provider; that provider will be named here before any email is sent.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until 30 days after the launch email is sent (so we can debug delivery issues), whichever comes sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your email from the list at any time, or to confirm that we hold no record of it, by emailing [email protected]. We respond within seven days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR (EU/UK), the DPDP Act (India), or the CCPA/CPRA (California). We honour all of them. Email us with a request and we’ll handle it.
Children
PookiePartner is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor’s email has been submitted to the waitlist, email [email protected] and we will delete it immediately.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be communicated by email to waitlist subscribers before they take effect. We’ll update the effective date at the top of this page when anything changes.
Contact
Questions, deletion requests, or anything else: [email protected].
This document is a working draft for the pookiepartner.app pre-launch waitlist site. Final terms will be reviewed by counsel before the iOS / Android apps launch and may change at that point. Material updates to either document will be communicated to waitlist subscribers ahead of any change taking effect.
